CBSA Economic Forecast Webinar Replay from December5

Winds of Change

When is a better time than now to keep yourself updated on the economy? There is much to discuss. Tax reform, tariffs and a U.S. economy that is about to head into a slowdown; the list goes on and on. It is very important to keep abreast of where the economy, and your business, is located on the cycle. However, it is perhaps even more important to understand what to do with this economic information. It is great to hear an economic update, but it is equally as valuable to know what kind of actionable insights to take back to your business.

Catherine Putney from ITR Economics will discuss how you can use your own data to identify where your business is located on the cycle. She will also discuss hot topics such as the impact of the recent global tariffs. Listeners will gain a better understanding of where the United States currently stands on the business cycle and what tools to use in order to prepare their business for what’s to come. The webinar will cover a three year outlook for the macroeconomy, before diving into more specific subjects such as commodity prices, manufacturing, inflation and employment.
