CBSA Service Center Training Event 

CBSA service center member company employees are invited to attend CBSA’s 2019 Service Center Training Event hosted by Chase Brass and Copper Company, LLC on Wednesday, October 16, 2019 in Montpelier, OH. For added value to attendees, a networking dinner will be held on the evening of Tuesday, October 15. 

This unique on-site learning opportunity allows CBSA service center personnel to meet with an industry supplier for a one-day hands-on training experience including a tour of their operations and classroom-style presentations from company experts. 

Attendees will see the various processes within the Chase Brass and Copper Company mill, as well as a technical presentation that will cover specifications and standards, types of quality issues and laboratory and testing capabilities. CBSA Service Center employees won't want to miss out on this opportunity to meet with an industry supplier and see their capabilities first-hand!

Welcome Reception

On Tuesday evening prior to the workshop, join attendees for a networking dinner at Sam’s Place in Blakeslee, OH. Sam’s Place restaurant is 16 miles/20-minute drive from the Quality Inn Hotel. Transportation will not be provided. Meet your fellow attendees in the lobby of the hotel at 5:40 p.m. to carpool to the networking dinner together.

Airport

Detroit Metropolitan Airport (DTW)
Detroit Metropolitan Airport is located 120 miles/two-hour drive from the Quality Inn Montpelier Hotel and Chase Brass.  

Toledo Express Airport is located 45 miles from the hotel but is not recommended for transportation due to its extremely limited flight options. 

Dress Code

Attendees must wear close-toed shoes. Comfortable shoes are encouraged as the day will include a walking tour. Hard hats, safety glasses and ear protection will be provided on-site by Chase Brass and Copper, LLC.
